Directions:
From the South:
Take Route I or I-95 to Bangor. Once in Bangor, follow Route
9 East until you reach the intersection of Routes 9 & 1.
Turn right staying on Route 9 East and Route 1 South for 5.5
miles. Turn right onto South Street (There is a DOT sign for
the District Court just before the turn and also the sign
pointing to the hospital is on the corner). Go approximately
0.7 miles and the District Court is on the right. (Between
DHS and EBS and directly across from Wal-Mart).
From the North:
Follow Route 1 South, you will eventually come to the
junction of Routes
9 & 1 in Baileyville, Maine (formerly Woodland, Maine). From
there continue on Route 1 South and Route 9 East for 5.5
miles. Turn right onto South Street (there is a DOT sign for
the District Court just before the turn and also the sign
pointing to the hospital is on the corner). Go approximately
0.7 miles and the District Court is on the right. (Between
DHS and EBS and directly across from Wal-Mart).
From the Machias Area:
Follow Route 191 to Baring. At the junction of Routes 191
and 1, turn right onto Route 1 South. Turn right onto South
Street (there is a DOT sign for the District Court just
before the turn and also the sign pointing to the hospital
is on the corner). Go approximately 0.7 miles and the
District Court is on the right. (Between DHS and EBS and
directly across from Wal-Mart).
From Eastport area:
Follow Route 1, North to Calais. Turn left onto South Street
(follow signs for the hospital). The District Court is on
the left between EBS and Department of Human Services and
directly across from Wal-Mart.
